Beco is a bakery and café located in Estefânia, Lisbon, that specializes in artisanal pastries and homemade bread. Founded during the pandemic in 2020 by chef António Mello, it has grown from a hobby to a full-time venture.
In April 2023, Beco opened its first store and restaurant, with chef Diego Haupenthal joining as a partner to expand into the pastry realm. The establishment aims to share its products and experiences with the local community.
